(phone) Krag snap caps This auction is for a set of (phone) Krag Snap Caps. These are capped with RN bullets. These snap caps, contain no powder, or primers, but they will chamber, look and feel right. They cannot fire, nor can they ever be made to fire. Unlike plastic or one piece metal snap caps, these brass cartridges look right. The brass brands used may vary from those in the pictures. These were New commercial casings that have been mechanically cleaned, sized, and had the primer pocket plugged, and then a bullet seated and crimped. You can visually tell they are inert, as the primer cavity is plugged with a orange poly, and the case has a hole drilled in the casing. I intended to make these snap caps look like the original 30-40 Krag load from the 1890's with the 220 grain RN, these aren't a FMJRN like the original, but they look close. These do contain exposed lead on the tip. Shipping is a flat $3.50 for 1 set and $1.00 for each additional set, up to $7.50 maximum shipping for all sets.
