Director of Career Services As the Director of Career Services, you will be responsible for organizing, planning, developing and administration of career search for the University.
This individual will also be responsible for managing the social media and blog sites for the campus.
Responsibilities may include:
Demonstrate independent thinking and creativity in advising graduates on obtaining job interviews and ultimately jobs in their related field of study Initiate, cultivate and maintain employer partnerships for the placement of student while attending the University and upon graduation Work to achieve placement in accordance with applicable accreditation requirements Conduct trainings on interviewing techniques Conduct exit meetings with all graduates Teach Career Development course Ideal candidates possess the following qualities:
Student-centered philosophy in support of academic excellence Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on quick response time Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to learn and use necessary technology quickly and adeptly Adaptability; able to succeed in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment Passion and enthusiasm for discipline and/or area of profession Requirements of this position include:
