Description
This individual will be responsible for determining competitive retail pricing on our used equipment utilizing past sales history, current inventory levels and market demand. This position requires excellent analytical abilities. This individual will need to coordinate activities and ensure cooperation with all other teammates within the company to best serve the needs of the stakeholders. Some Travel is required. The expectation is to have a well-run, profitable, Used Equipment Department.

Specific Duties Include:

This individual will be responsible for determining competitive retail pricing on our used equipment utilizing past sales history, current inventory levels and market demand.

Communicate regularly with all appropriate management regarding used equipment.

Track aged and under-utilized machines, and develop plans to re-price distressed inventory.

Make appropriate business decisions regarding pricing used equipment to current market environment.

Build relationships with other RDO Equipment Co. Managers to help price inventory as needed to best suit Company needs and goals

Provide excellent customer service and follow-up.

Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere toall policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.

Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co.

Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.

Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.

Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.

Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Requirements

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
