Assists financial consultants by providing sales and servicing support. Duties may include: scheduling appointments for new and existing customers; monitoring and tracking referrals and sales results; issuing sales/marketing information to clients; providing customer service via telephone and written correspondence; solving operational issues; preparing sales packages; ordering supplies; coordinating appointment books; maintaining file system for prospective and existing customers; processing customer service requests (address changes, statement copies, etc.). Acts as the liaison for all referral sources by reviewing paperwork for completeness and forwarding to management for review.
Basic Qualifications
1+ years experience in administrative or sales support.
Minimum Qualifications
1+ years experience in administrative or sales support.
Preferred Skills
Local market knowledge. Ability to obtain Series 7, 63, and state life and insurance licenses within 180 days of hire. Prior experience in the financial services industry preferred. Experience directly supporting a financial advisor or team of financial advisors strongly preferred. Experience leveraging organizational skills to support branch and client needs, focusing on execution, accuracy, and efficiency.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
