This position is responsible for agency-wide marketing, communications, donor development, and special events to promote awareness and support of our mission.
The employee's primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgement.

Qualifications:

Essential Functions:
Responsible for managing and implementing the agency-wide communications and marketing plan to promote the work of CAPLP to customers, volunteers, potential employees, stakeholds, donors, and the broader community.
Work in close collaboration with the Executive Director and Leadership Team to accomplish goals.
Coordinates special events and fundraising opportunities including Giving Hearts Day, Caring Catalog and annual CAPLP fundraising events.
Design and produce marketing materials including print and electronic communications for both internal and external audiences.
Manage and maintain activity and interaction on social media platforms to create a captivating and compelling message.
Designs, produces, and distributes marketing materials.
Compile agency annual reports, division reports, and newsletters in collaboration with the Leadership Team.
Cultivate relationships with donors and potential donors.
Assist with recruitment and marketing for new employees.
Develop press releases and media contacts.
Serves as the lead for organizing and providing community outreach.
Ensures consistent use of the mission statement, brand, and graphic standards throughout the organization.
Update and maintain compelling information on the organization's website.
Serves as the primary media contact for incoming requests and solicitations of news coverage, including submission of news releases and public service announcements.
Serves as the primary contact for CAPLP employee requests for posting appropriate materials to all staff members through the various agency communication platforms.
Provide agency presentations to partners and service clubs within the service area.
Available to work designated Agency hours for the Division and position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
